The Florence Biennale is the major contemporary art and design exhibition in Florence and one of the world's leading contemporary art exhibitions. More than 600 artists and designers from 84 countries participated in the latest edition (XIV Florence Biennale 2023), which was held under the patronage of European Parliament, Italian Commission for UNESCO, Italian Ministry of Culture, Tuscany Region, Municipality of Florence and other important institutions, and attended by more than 13,000 visitors.
The XV Florence Biennale, which will take place at the Fortezza da Basso (Florence, Italy), from 18 to 26 October 2025, will engage participating artists and visitors in a rich programme of artistic and cultural activities.
The inauguration of the XVth Florence Biennale will be held on Saturday, 18 October 2025 at 11:00 am.
